TULIPS

#56
It was one of thoses days in the studio that nearly makes you
throw your paint brushes up in despair and yell out loud....
'I can't paint, what's going on!' My first painting was a wipe-off
and this one almost went too. Tulips are definitely a test of the
painter's will........ they move and keep opening with the light.

Unfortunately this is not a good photo of the true colours.
No matter where I tried to take it the red always came out too
light and 'orangey', and the background is actually more turquoise.
