Whenever or whatever I paint I always try and end up with a 'painterly' painting. I look for lost and found edges, applying thick and thin paint and I try not to break my values down too much. Trying to do this today took quite a while, so much so that I forgot about the time and didn't start the family dinner until a lot later than usual. So today, not only did I suffer for my art but my family did too! ;-D
I am happy to say that no adults were harmed in the making of this painting, and were fed in reasonable time........ I hope I'm not the only one out there guilty of such things???
