CARNATIONS ( 4, 4"x4" separate panels )

SOLD

#193
I had bought another variety of flowers to paint but wasn't able to work in my studio again until today. Naturally the flowers died but the carnations from last week were surprisingly still 'fresh as a daisy' so to speak. Of course I just had to paint them again. I put four boards together as in the previous post ( #192) but this time I used the smaller 4" x4" panels to make one 8"x8" painting.
The panels are actually separate and therefore can be framed with all sides touching or with a slight gap between each panel or in individual frames and hung together in a square as painted.

Hi Helen, your 'Carnations' are once again delightful!
What I like most about your painting is that you rendered the light and schadows of the flowers very well!!

Just as beautiful as the previous carnation painting!! I love the shadows which give the painting depth and also the loose brushwork!!

You too have an interest in unit paintings! We share that interest. These are beautiful Helen--as are the florals in your previous posts. Your reds and whites are very well done. Brilliant.

Beautiful art and great technique.
I am amazed on how you are able to get so much wonderful art on such a small surface.
Bravo!
