In my quest to push the boundaries, I decided to leave this painting at this rather early stage. So, I put my brushes down, and made myself walk away,
( well I only just left the room in actual fact ) because I know that If I didn't leave, I would've kept on going and going and going.......

PS Is anyone having trouble connecting to the DPW website? I haven't been able to connect for 24 hours. :-(

Today was a hard day at the office! Funny how some days run smoothly and others days, like today, are a struggle! Grrrh ! I wiped back twice and made myself take more breaks.......got there in the end........ Phew!

I used ultramarine blue as a ground colour so you can see specks showing through here and there. Looking forward to doing this more often.
