I love this, Helen! The strong diagonals form a very interesting composition, while the blues make it both rich and calming. The action of the figure is perfect! You got that right in so few strokes! The oranges in the skin against that calm blue makes her really an attention grabber! Love the action in the shadow---a totally different perspective than the figure itself. Great job!
You've captured great movement Helen!! The viewpoint makes this composition quite dynamic and the colours give the impression of light and heat.Excellant job!
These are great, Helen! And as to the camera - I've had7 in 7 years - Nikon, Olympus, Canon, every one changed the color. Photoshop can fix a little, but I find it always looks better in person!
I can tell that this is going to be a great series! I love the pink peeking through and the strong shadow. Good job in catching the light!
I wish I could tell you that a new camera would help with color, but I really don't think it would. I have photoshop and two cameras, a Nikon SLR and a Lexon (I think that's the name). Both are good, but no matter what I do the color just isn't the same as it is in person.
