Just had to have another go at these pears. This time I wanted to push the boundaries , break the rules ( blue and green ) and just paint!

Lots of softness in this one. Not as much contrast. Moody and gently. They remind me of a couple communicating. Very nice.

That's what rules are for! :) Love the light and shadows. Also there is interesting synergy between the two stems. Nicely done!

Wow, it's amazing what a difference a blue surface can make. I love the shadow of one pear onto the other.

These pear paintings are lovely. I admire how you used two different color palettes. I'm usually partial to warm color palettes, but here I prefer the blue. It's just so lovely with the yellow in the pears!
