A very late Happy New Year to my fellow bloggers and visitors to this site! It has been a while since I have posted, and due to elderly parents needing care, painting and posting may continue to be a little infrequent in the next few weeks. Such is life...

I've missed your paintings Helen, this is adorable,so much life in those stems and the glowing fruit(are tomatoes fruit or veg??).
All the best for the New Year and I wish you and your family good health too.

Hi Helen!... Happy New Year ... back to you!

Life does indeed have a habit of getting in the way of painting at this time in our lives. But taking care of those who cared for you... and now require your support... understanding and care is not merely "a duty".

It is rather is a privilege to honour one's parents for the copious blessings and the life they made possible for us!'' They continue to teach of us life lessons that will prepare us for our own "date"... with Time and Destiny!

Good luck with your efforts!

Your tomatoes... as always... fairly breathe a real... yet "painterly" sense of life and are a huge treat for any eye! Crisp and beautiful they are!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Such is life but you sure have not lost your knack for painting. This is lovely.
