#336 - 6” x 6” - Oil - I painted this scene from a photo taken a few years ago during a day visit to Montpellier. I zoomed in and cropped this small composition from within the larger photo. I loved the light created by the ‘contre jour’ aspect. The aim was to keep the painting impressionistic and ephemeral.
