#227

Still painting with acrylics and testing different painting surfaces. So far I like the ampersand gessoed boards and the acrylic primed linen.

So perfect. The wonderful little brush of yellow refection amid the beautiful transparency of the glass is so well done.

Wow, I haven't looked at your blog in a while. I love these flowers and the fruit. You are so good at pulling out the essential. There's more contrast in these last works. Love the old china.

Gorgeous color, great sense of light and beautiful brushwork! Wonderful use of acrylics. I'm not an archival expert but you may want to check whether acrylics will hold up on oil-primer?

Thanks Lorraine! I meant to write acrylic prime line. :-)

Wonderful, Helen! You're very good at painting glass. Love the dark background color in combination with the aqua foreground.
