CITY CYCLE - Melbourne

SOLD

#285 - 6" x 6" - Oil

I was walking across Princes Bridge in Melbourne recently when I looked over to see cyclists riding along the banks of the Yarra River. The viewpoint, looking down on the cyclist and their shadow, was simply irresistible!

Each time you add on of these wonderfully composed paintings to your series, you blow me away. You have found your niche.

This is great. So hard to paint bicycles - takes some time and planning!

This is very clever, Helen, and you've given yourself extra work by painting the bicycle and the figure twice. Everything is right about your painting - the composition, colours, tones, etc. Great job!
