Couldn't resist the title. :-D This is painted on a birchwood panel with the sides { 3/4" deep (2cm) } painted white.

This was painted on a birchwood panel, 2cm ( 7/8" ) deep, prepared with Gamblin oil painting ground. I found this particular panel quite nice to work on, and the good thing is, there is no need to frame it.
