I painted this subject to really challenge myself. ( Although I think all paintings whatever the subject are always a challenge ) I deliberately chose paper the same colour as the pears. It was a very interesting exercise indeed!
*Unfortunately, and for some unknown reason, the colours of this painting have come up a bit washed-out compared to the one in my camera album. If I can fix the problem I'll post a new one.

One thing I've learnt from experience is that all artists love challenges and I think you've definitely won this one!! The greens are just amazing and so cool!
