DISBUD

#251 - Oil - 8"x 8" on Birch Ply 1 1/4" Cradle

These Disbud, Chrysanthemums look just like snowballs or pompoms. Amazing flowers!

This is painted on a Birch Ply gessoboard which has a 1 1/4 inch cradle and therefore is able to sit freely on a table, bookshelf, etc. Sides are painted gold.

This is really lovely Helen, love the pureness of the flower , the transparency of the glass and the bold shadow, great composition !

I am also taken with the composition and the glass. Great little painting. Pureness is also a fitting word for the flowers. Thanks Jane!

The colors , you treatments of the glassware and the stark whiteness of the flowers are stunning. This is an exceptional painting. Beautiful.
