For me this was an exercise in using just the one colour...well

almost.

Years ago my teacher use to have his students paint from the cast

after each semester break. He said it was a great way to get back

 into 'seeing' as an artist again.

The only one that loved the spotlight was the daisy. The limes
stood to the side or tried to hide behind the glass. I don't know
why because I made very sure that I picked the best looking
ones in the market.
