If there was no pandemic, I would have visited London this month. This memory of Oxford street will have to do. Stay safe and well everyone.

MEN AT WORK

SOLD :  #343 - 5” x 7” ( 12.7cm x 17.8cm) - Oil - Currently there are a lot of footpath works being done at our local shopping strip. I just had to take advantage of painting their ‘Hi-Vis’ clothing that was glowing magnificently in the winter’s sun.

I zoomed in and cropped this small composition from within the larger photo. I loved the light created by the ‘contre jour’ aspect. The aim was to keep the painting impressionistic and ephemeral.
